Equipment

  • Instant pot

Ingredients

  • 1/4 tbsp of Salt (adjust to taste)
  • 3 Pounds boiled shredded Chicken
  • 1 cup of Frank's Red Hot sauce
  • 16 oz of Room temperature cream cheese
  • 1 pack of Frank's Red Hot Ranch Dip Seasoning
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • half cup of water
  • 3 tbsp Blue cheese (this is optional, I didn't use it in this recipe)

Instructions

  • Hit Saute mode, and dump 3 pounds of boiled shredded Chicken (this took 10-15 mins) in your Instantpot.
  • Add two 8 oz sticks of room temperature cream cheese.
  • Add 1 cup of Frank's Red Hot sauce. I added a little more but you can adjust to taste.
  • Add 1 or half a pack of Frank's Red Hot Ranch Dip Seasoning depending on how salty you want it to be. Add extra salt if needed.
  • Add one cup of shredded cheese or more. More cheese is always better!!
  • Add half a cup of water at the end.
  • Close the lid and set the saute mode for 15 mins. Wait for natural pressure release.
  • Carefully open the lid after 15 mins and give it a nice mix.
  • Now serve it with literally anything and enjoy this mouth-watering easy recipe.

Notes

Hi Fam!Ā
Pro tip - if you want to take this to the next level then do this:
Transfer the dip from your Instantpot into an oven friendly pan, then top it off with more cheese and bake it for 5-6 min until the cheese is golden brown. This will make your buffalo chicken dip aesthetically pleasing. You can take some nice boomerangs when you pull the cheese out with chips, celery, or whatever you chose to serve it with.Ā
I've always watched the Super Bowl at a non-muslim friend's house. Hence, I was never able to try the buffalo chicken dip because it wouldn't be halal. I finally decided to make it, and oh boy! I don't know why I waited this long. It is super easy and mouth-watering!! If you try the recipe then #eatwithsamiya and let me know. I would love to give you a shout-out on Insta or any other social media.Ā
Q&A
  • Is this dish spicy?Ā
Everyone's spice tolerance is different. You can decrease the hot sauce depending on how spicy you want it to be. I would rate this a 6 out of 10 for Indian (anyone that likes spicy food) taste buds.
  • What can you serve this with?Ā
Traditionally people eat buffalo chicken dip with chips but I have tried this with baby carrots/celery and it tastes amazing!Ā
I had some leftovers so I made a paratha roll (wrap) with it for day two. Day three, I made some buffalo chicken dip mac and cheese (it's as amazing as it sounds...haha let me know if y'all want a recipe, and I'll write it up) by improvising and adding a couple of extra things to the mix.
I get bored of food really fast so I change it up. These are some of the pics just so you have an idea. Tag me in your pics, I would love to see them! #eatwithsamiya
